Newly launched production company, Fort Dee, aim to develop a planned series of immersive experiences exploring Scotland’s rich folklore and hidden histories. The goal is to build a scalable model of site-based digital interpretation that reconnects people with place and past - especially those who may feel excluded from traditional cultural spaces.

Their long-term ambition is to establish a replicable framework, first tested in Dundee, that other regions and institutions can adopt to animate their local histories using immersive technology. Our approach, validated through Tip, offers a low-cost but high-impact way to re-engage the public with cultural heritage.

This project builds directly upon the successful methodologies demonstrated in Tip  AR experience, an interactive digital heritage project in Dundee’s Lochee area. The Tip showed that AR can be a cost-effective, scalable and accessible way to transform historical narratives into compelling public experiences. We aim to replicate and expand this approach by applying similar design principles and technical strategies.
